What is Junior FFA?

 Opportunity to learn about agriculture before you get to high school

 Member of Competitive events (public speaking, livestock judging, Horse Judging,

 Science Fair, Skill A-Thon Contest (Sheep, horse, cattle),

 Show Animals (Rabbits, Chickens)

Build and show an Ag Mechanics project (welding & woodworking)

 Community Service Projects

 Fundraising

 Participate in Monthly meetings (For Junior members only)

Learn valuable agriculture knowledge , such as:

* Veterinary Career Skills

* Animal Care Skills

* Basic Flower and Plant Knowledge

* Small Construction Projects

Junior FFA Age:

3rd Grade (or age 9) thru 8th grade
